Health Information

We promise that our animals are in the best of health possible. We promise that we will not knowingly sell you an animal in poor or even questionable health. All animals leaving the state will be vet checked and certified with papers, as healthy.

We are frequently asked if the Miniature Jersey is a bred down version of the breed. The answer to this is NO! They are the size of the breed as they were first imported to the United States. The "Miniature" Jersey is the Original Size of the Isle of Jersey breed. The modern American Jersey is a Bred Up Size of the Original! Nor are they Dwarfs.

Genetic Problems. There are only two genetic problems within the Jersey breed. Limber Leg and Rectovaginal Constriction. Information about these conditions can be found on the American Jersey Cattle Association website. According to our information from the AJCA neither of these conditions have been recorded in the past 15 years.
